Default Tires

I bought a 2004 Commemorative 24:00 last week. On the front are Michelin Pilot Sport AS and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 on the rear. I'm new to C5's and wonder is this a correct combination or should they match?

The tire "brands" don't necessarily need to match. Tire "size" is more important in regards to keeping the AH (active handling) from not screwing up. Lots of guys with high hp run Nittos or M/T tires on the rears only because they offer better grip than a normal street tire.

When you need new tires, then get a matched set.

As long as the front two match each other and the rear two match each other, you're okay. The fact that all four are Michelin Pilot Sport is even better, even though they're not the same Pilot Sport. Better than mixing brands, but even that's okay as long as the above is followed.
