Default Fender flares

I just picked up a pewter 98 vert, car is spotless. Has 2000 chrome wheels, and I like to personalize my cars to be a bit different. Was thinking of flared fenders and some c6 z06 wheels as an inexpensive way to stand out a bit. Was looking at L5 or WCC fenders. Are any of them more painless than the other, or do they all require some fitting and finishing to get them perfect? Not looking at blowing the budget as I just did a cam on my 01 GTS this year.

Thanks gents

Marty.

Have you considered tubbing your vette?? Much cheaper than flares.

Ok, ordered my new carbon fenders from Pete at CC. I was thinking of using a set of c6 z06 wheels along with the new fenders, any thoughts? Trying to do this on a budget.

Also, I am in the western suburbs of Chicago, any recommendations on a good body shop to get the fenders painted?

Thanks all

Marty
