Default HDR photos of your Vette

I'm sure lots of forum members know about high dynamic range pictures. There are so many cool things you can do with digital cameras. How about some of your favorites? Here's one of mine.

Very cool. I struggle taking even decent shots of my torch red C5. Just one more thing to research on my little free time!

Very nice. Does this take a special camera. I see my iPhone has HDR but looks nothing like these

Some cameras have the capability to take three pictures in rapid succession with one being underexposed a bit, one overexposed, and one with correct exposure. Then you use a program like Photomax to combine them. There are a lot of effects from just a little bit of enhancement where the depth is richer or the light is evened out, to some really exotic looking stuff. Lots of fun. Here's one I took at Laguna Seca last August.

Not HD and not much to work with (sky etc) but kinda like it ....

Or an even older one.....
I have lots of great pictures of "stuff" but not many really dynamic ones of the car

Just done with a simple editing program....

Some really great pics posted here. I've never tried to do the HDR photo stuff - but would like to do it someday.

They look fake! Sorry but look at them. Bad advertisements at best. I like the cars in the pictures but the background scenery gets a little out there.

It's all about composition and learning a few basics such as aperature and shutter speeds. I'm still a photography noob but if you play enough with your camera, you can get some cool shots. Trick is to take many! Here's a few of my favs (none of these are edited in any way, and they are not HDR):

Have fun!

I just finally read what HDR really means!! Wow....makes sense...using the best pieces from three different exposures of the same pic to make one "dynamic" picture.

Not High Definition, High Dynamic Range....very interesting.

My pics in this thread are NOT HDR.....just enhanced in a simple program.

As said though.....while they are accepted more as "art", they do have a "fake" quality about them if your expectation is that they more resemble a standard image.

Cool stuff, great technology.

How expensive?
