So taking out interior to do a nice cleaning of my 2002 interior. I noticing I can clean the heck out of the console, radio bezel ect and the stuff just looks beat. I always used vinyl dye but never on such a nice car. I always had great outcome on hard plastic parts but the vette is not hard plastic, its sort of soft. The parts also lost a lot of the texture . Anyone ever restore their parts ? If so how ?
Something similar is on my "round tuit" list. I've got the gray interior and want to change the black bits (doors, console, dash, pillars, and probably headliner) to a medium-dark (graphite?) gray and then re-skin the seats in light/dark two-tone gray. GF's '05 LeSabre has that scheme except for the seats and it looks a lot nicer than the gray/black. (Hopefully, one side effect will be reduced glare from the dash.)
