Getting Creative With Plasti Dip
Ok, long story short I'm going to paint the outside of my clear top with Plasti Dip. This will be the first time I'm using the stuff so hopefully it will come out looking good.
I'm going try and get creative so that it's not just a typical black top. The colors I've chosen are black, red metallic flake (yes they make it) and the glossifier. The idea is to have the top look like a plain black top with a little sheen to it but when you get up close you see a VERY subtle red metallic flake.
I'm not sure how this will turn out but the beauty of Plasti Dip is if it does look like poo I can just peel it off and start over.
Wish me luck!!!

I plan on taking pics and posting them even if it does turn out looking like crap. At least then others can see the process involved.

I hope it turns out okay and doesn't look too blingy, at least I can peel it off if it does.

I was thinking of doing the halo piece black.
So far I've only done the wheels and the lower rear bumper

The halo might be next depending on how this turns out.
