Installing a Double-din?
Has anyone out there ever attempted to customize the stereo console, so you could install a 7" touch screen unit?
I am seeing them in c5's regularly, but not wanting to pay too much to have someone do it, also don't want to have to wait a long time for them to finish.
So just wondering how one would do this, and the difficulty of the project?
Also, if you say its super hard project that I should not attempt as a amature, would you know somewhere to either buy one, or send mine in to have it done?

Checkout Doubledmods.com. I'm about to send Dennis my radio bezel. It costs around $200 for the mod but he offers some great deals on complete install packages that offset some of that expense. Money well spent in my opinion.

You can check out the Audio section on this forum. There is a sticky at the top for C5's and in it, you will find a great write-up on doing it yourself. However, I would take the advice given above and contact DDMods. Dennis can set you up with everything you need at very competitive prices.
