Hey guys, after 4 long months of waiting I finally get to pick up my Carbon Fiber roof today!! This roof is made with 12K carbon, and uses 6 layers of carbon in total. It was designed to be as light as possible, not just a show-piece. The final finish is one that I worked with Fiberworks to create, which he is now calling "ghosted carbon". The roof is glossy on the top, and matte on the underside. Here are a few pictures that I took yesterday before it was finished, but I'll post some pictures later this week of the roof on the car!!!
Since I've got a mold made now they could, but it will likely be price-prohibitive for most people. You can get one on the auction site that has 2 layers of carbon over fiberglass for looks at half the price.

I'll get a better idea on cost when I go pick the roof up today. I don't want to say what I paid, since I paid to have a mold made, but they should cost under $2K

Please let us know the cost! I'm getting ready to paint my glass roof cause it looks like crap and price depending this may be an option.
Like I mentioned before, price will be prohibitive. I talked to Matt and he said that they're probably going to run about $1700-1800, but he could do them slightly cheaper if I put together a group-buy. I'll know more when I talk to him after work.
