I had a minor leak on the passenger side at the top of the window. When it rained really hard, I discovered a small puddle on my passenger seat.
Driver's side was dry.Looking closely, I saw there was a difference between how each window fit to the top.
So, I adjusted the top and then the passenger side developed a whistle at speeds above 50mph.
I adjust the height and tilt-in of the passenger side and still didn't help.
Finally, I fine-tuned the star-adjustment on the top and now the passenger side is perfect. Almost no wind-noise at all. In comparison, the driver's side has quite a bit of wind noise.
Looked closely again at the driver's side and the back of the window is adjusted too high and is causing it to not seat properly on the B pillar seal.
Now that I know how quiet it can be when adjusted properly, Saturday's assignment is to lower the back of the driver's side window to get rid of the wind noise.
