Default height adjustment

Does anyone know how far you can adjust height up or down in a c5? Im having issues with trying to get out of my drive without scrapping. Im not sure what's touching at the moment. Air dam? front clip?

Person at local repair shop said, theres only a 1/4 or 3/4 " dif. when using the adjusting bolts. basically he never had anyone ask to raise a car, instead of lowering it.

Get used to it. These cars are low and the air dam will scrape. The middle is spring loaded and the outer are flexible plastc. It's made that way. There are two skid bars to prevent damage.
I believe you are the first guy here that wants to raise their Vette. Most are into lowering it even more.

thanks for the input. its abit hard for me to run my car out the drive and stop it middle of road/drive and get out to look under front end. I didn't want to raise the car, it looks great as is of course. im guessing its the air dam that's rubbing, which Im not worried about.

Depends on your definition of "raise": I had mine restored to stock height. Previous owner had lowered it to the point that I was hitting the skid bars on the gutters leaving my neighborhood and smacking the frame rails on parking lot speed bumps.
Bugger that. As my neighbor described it after a ride, "You can't see how low it is from the inside, but you can damn sure hear it."

If you're still at stock height, fix your driveway!

It's your air dam, made to flex, easy/cheap to replace...not the end of the world!

Sometimes it works better to take those problem spots at an angle instead of straight on.
