Default My seat has lost its mind!

Here's the deal. When I unlock my car, the drivers seat sometimes goes nuts. It jerks back and forth a few times. Also, it stops frequently and jerks when going back to its memory settings. To make matters worse, when I manually move the seat, it stops moving constantly.

Any ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it?

Has to do with the memory system... mine misbehaves at times too but not quite as badly. I believe I've read on here that checking and cleaning all of the connectors under the seats should help. Worth a try!

That's exactly why I was so glad to see my current one did not have the memory package!!!!! Got all of the good options....HUD, Z51, dual power Sport Seats, but not the gol-danged memory package or dual zone auto climate control!!!!

It is just the way I would have ordered it new!

Oh, and by the way, since I rarely ever move my seat, I don't have the "Rocking Seat" option either!! And.......I just turned 90,000 mi. on the way to work yesterday. Still looks and drives just like new!! Love it!!

I didn't have the problem but just got tired of the steering wheel moving out and retracting along with the seat moving back and forward.

I turned my stuff off through the settings panel.

I do have the "rocking seat option" on mine with 26K. I've gotten use to it only because I haven't gotten around to fixing it.

Most of my free time has been spent installing the highly desirable "Flux Capacitor Mod".

If my memory seat went nuts I would start with the connectors under the seat as stated earlier.

You only think you're kidding. Although it won't help the seat. It would help my knees for sure.

Time to call an exorcist.
Seriously, most likely the memory set up needs to be checked out.

I've simply cut off the memory seat option in every Vette I've owned that had it. My current c5 and my c7 included. I hate waiting for the seat to go back or forward.
