ok my 03 never had problem until, anyone been able to temp bypass to get to repair shop....is in garage and can't get out as wheels turned, thanks for suggestions.
If you are truly desperate and stranded, I was reading in a thread you can force the wheel "sometimes" by cranking on it really hard, you may have to do a search for the exact "procedure" lol.
Also make sure to fully charge your battery and possibly test it to make sure it's actually good.

Yank wheel hard right and turn on ignition at the same time. It may take a few attempts but it will unlock. However, fix it quick...it will lock again.
Just happened to me last weekend at my brothers home when i had absolutely no tools with me nor he has any, well i put the key in, and turn hard right with little impact couple hits and done.
previous owner did installed CLB but i guess after 5-6 years its time for another one.
Edit: happened today as well, yank to right broke loose.......
