squeaky T1 bars
For all that have put on or woud like put on T1 bars here is a bit of back yard engineering that I have tried that stops that darn squeaking. Put a strip of plastic coffee can lid around the bar to act as a bearing surface between the bar and the offending bushings. It is a good idea to install the strip with the lettering on the lid facing toward the bushing to help prevent it from scooting out. I have been running this in test mode for about 3 months and two track days and it is working great so far. There doesn't seem to be any need for lubrication so far. Check it out.
