Default New and First Corvette

Just wanted to say hello. Just purchased a 2003 Corvette a week ago. Had a little scare few days after with a overheating issue but I think we have that fixed. Found allot of info so far on here. Thanks.

cool car, with the best body style, in my opinion, not much more you can do to it besides drive it . I wanted a convertible , but the fastback is the defining corvette as far as style .

I hope your purchase brings you some good trips. Those mods must be very entertaining at times. Kind of cool to step into a modified car that is set up the way you would want it , before you even knew you would be in the market for the car.

My used car came lowered, stock, with chrome wheels, perfect. That's about the extent of the mods my skill level permits. Anything tougher than washing really pushes the ownership skill envelope.

Saw a new corvette convertible on the street yesterday, It looked contemporary and new, but I think the C5 will age better as a much cleaner design. Time will tell.

Thank you. I looked at a yellow convertible with MODS. Little over 500HP according to the owner. It was nice but automatic and I just fell in love with the feeling this car gives when you push the skinny peddle on the right!!
