LED Mod for Auto-Dim Mirror

Just got my mirror back from having Radioflier install Cree LEDs in the map lights. This mod is brighter than switching the six 5mm LEDs in the original board.

HF Nylon pry bar for mirror removal

Mirror with new LED and Lens

Test fitting new LEDs

Installed mirror maplights

Installed maplights

Looks good!

I was extremely nervous about the actual removal of the mirror the thought of cracking my window was overwhelming, glad it worked out!

I have mine done in Blue Led's however my favorite part is the helper light being swapped out, the dull dirty light from it had to go!

I just ground down the pry bar until the edge was even with the end of the spring latch. It was a little awkward prying with the bar while pushing the mirror up, but it worked good.
