Has anybody done a wrap instead of paint on the fuel rail covers? I have a few ideas bouncing around in my head. I thought doing a wrap might be easier than painting.

I had issues with paint bubbling/wrinkling and pealing on my FRCs. I went with a wrap...but not a vinyl wrap, I used real carbon fiber cloth and epoxy resin and laminated the cf on top. I'm very pleased with how they turned out and they've been on the car for about a year now...NO issues.

I re-did mine with high temp paint. BUT I'd love to see a pic of your covers!

Ask and ye shall receive. I had smoothed the FRCs before when I had painted and hydro dipped them so that helped make the laminating "easier". Prep was key. Pardon the dust in the engine bay...she's a driver not a garage queen.
Driver's side FRC
I also laminated real carbon fiber to the radiator cap/cover

As is mine! Can you pm me or send me a link describing the details of what you did?
