I've recently bought a 98 hatchback coupe and was wondering how I can determine if it has been lowered by previous owner. Any help would be great. Bottom line is I would prefer it to be stock.
The service manual measurement is not DIY-friendly, as it measures the drop from the suspension mount points to the outer ball joints with a special tool. But stock height is roughly 6" at the front and 6.2" at the rear, both measured from the ground to the bottom of the rocker panel at the corresponding jack point.

Oh, and each full turn of the bolts works out to 2mm of height adjustment.
