Good info Jim and I would agree - just be patient and wait for some reproduction wheels to become available in the stock C5 offsets. Probably won't take long.
But this should work the other way around right? If I ever upgrade to C7 base I would like to use my winter C5 wheels and tires. C5 tires should fit as did calculations - virtually same diameter as base C7. Wheel offset basically same up front and rotor size in C7 base similar to C5 front. C5 rear wheels on a C7 will be pushed out a bit from the C7 +79 offset to the C5 +65 offset but this should not be an issue. Am I missing something?
