Default dual temperature control buttons

Can the buttons be removed and replaced with different ones? If they can, how do you remove the buttons? Thanks

You are correct, got side tracked with the picture.

With that said the buttons can be removed by just disassembling the unit, that is easy.

Best bet for different looking buttons would be a 3D printer or a paint brush.

I am talking about the buttons on the unit that controls the heat & air conditioning. My fan speed control button is a bit messed up and I want to replace them with the same factory buttons. I want to know if you can simply pop it off from the front of the unit, or if the unit needs to be disassembled so that they can be removed from inside the back of the unit.

Need to disassemble the unit which is very easy. If you need guidance on how to access the unit for removal here is some great info. Just stop at where you can remove the bezel around the unit.

If you have a manual you really don't need to remove the shift **** and boot. The boot can be rotated and pulled thru the console opening and allow the console removal leaving the **** and boot in place.

Pull off the 2 ***** and unscrew the 4 screws at the back. You will need to then unplug the circuit boards and remove the internal screws as necessary to gain access. Been a couple of years since I have been into one.
