What is this?

My dad had a '98 Corvette and has been holding onto for years. But no one knows what it is and I was hoping you fine folks would be able to provide some insight.

That front piece looks like a convertible top boot I had with a Mustang years ago. The C5 your dad had would not use one of these as it has the hard panel that closes over the top when it is down.

You got me thinking. My dad had a 96 Mustang back then too. I found a tag on it with a partial part number and its a Dust Hood for the convertible top.

Thank you for your help. if one of the mods could delete this thread as it no longer is relevant to Corvettes I would really appreciate that.
