Default Forum Help To Identify This Part

I have a 2004 Convertible.

A while back part of the cover that I have pictured broke off and I lost the piece. Attached are pictures of the driver side which is fine right now.

This cover opens and closes with the convertible top.

I've looked all over and can't identify the part and if anyone knows where this part can be purchased. Hopefully there is an easy way to put this on as well.

Thanks to all in the forum, I've gotten many answers here.

Hey Chigaro, I think the part number(s) you're looking for are as follows 10418408 - Left Side, 10418109 - Right Side
Here's a link to the GM parts manual with a diagram of the part. (http://www.gmpartscenter.net/auto-pa...embly=cf973354) (note that directly under the part #'s it shows convertible) I'm pretty sure these are what you're looking for .... pricey though.. Hope this helps.

I bought a used one off of Marc @ Vettnuts. to replace the broken one in my convertible. I have not replaced it yet but plan on doing so soon. It was definitely cheaper than new.

Thanks much my friend, that's exactly what I need. Too bad just that little top piece can't be purchased!

That is what I need though.

Thanks thealien, I'll definitely reach out to Marc. Looks like the top piece could have been designed to be replaced rather than the whole section.

Thanks for the help!

If you will accept used, Marc is the guy to talk to about getting that part.

You can also google GM and the appropriate part number (left or right) and get an idea of pricing. I got quite a few hits when I googled the part #. I think the problem you might have is getting the correct color to match your interior.

Look on ebay, or find someone parting one out. You may be able just to purchase the top
