If its your DD then leave it stock.... driving a cammed, exhaust car everyday gets old really quick!!

Why daily drive it? Just get a beater car and do what we you want to the corvette.

if it's not your daily, I'd say, go big or go home.
I just bought an 03 Z06 last week. Car has Vengence Racing Vindicator Cam which is one of the biggest you can install on factory heads. I love it and I'd DD it with no problem. Driving a big cammed car is all in the tune.

Stay around 224 and you will get some more power and still be a good DD.

If you are going to cam it, get a mild cam and a good tune.

With headers, mild Cam, Vararam CAI, you are looking at around 410-420 RWHP and it wil be a good daily driver.

Go for more than this and it is not going to be fun, especially when idling.

With a mild Cam and the right tune, you should be OK.. A mild cam and a good tune, should not change the idle radically. You will hear a mild lope, but nothing major.

Not sure where you live, but reach out to one of the main Vette/GM performance gurus (like Vengeance Racing) to give you the right advise for what you are attempting to achieve. They will steer you in the right direction from experience and know how.

Not sure about the other performance specialist, but Vengeance has a tech forum where you can ask questions such as these.

I lurk in these forums but never reply so please don't scold me
I bought a 01 Z06 last June and DD it every day for 6 months (it was awesome I miss it). While it was DD I added long tubes and a catless x-pipe, CAI, and short throw shifter. It responded really well and made it even more fun to drive.......then I got ambitious. To keep this short I did heads, big cam, underdrive pulleys, B&B bullets,Ram HD clutch and supporting mods. Needless to say I don't DD it anymore. It is awesome to drive when I can and maybe it makes it that much more special, but I live in Atlanta (burbs) and traffic sucks. Its all in what you want, I love my car and would daily drive it if needed. It is all about the tune I agree. Unlike me, have a clear picture of what you want the car to do. Do your research and when you think you have your answer search again, there are some really good threads on here and you will learn alot.

https://www.corvetteforum.com/c5-z06-discussion/3370053-tsp-headers-and-fast-92-dyno-2001-zo6.html

Here's my setup.

Drives better than stock with great throttle response and partial throttle acceleration.

It's not my daily but it gets better MPG than my daily (4.6L F150).
