Just finished with my wide body fenders on my 98. I used Pete's carbon rears, turned out very nice and Pete is great to deal with. Looking for suggestions on rear splash guards so I don't mess up my new paint. I have heard c6z guards work well, but require a bunch of work to get them to fit. Looking for suggestions.
Yeah they most.likely should. Expensive though. I have L5's and used the OEM C6Z guards. Not hard at all to modify. Look great.
I'm curious as to why you chose the OEM C6Z guards when L5 makes direct bolt ons to their L5 flared fenders? Are the splash guard designs different? Different level of quality?
For me I got a good deal on a used set on the C6 forum. I also like the fact that the GM ones are abs plastic. Very flexible. Put my savings towards other mods
Can you please post more pics of your rear fenders?
Here is a closer pic. I have the TPE T2 flared fenders. I originally tried to used L5 splash guards thinking it would be less to trim. Wrong!!!. Susan at L5 was good about taking them back. The c6z splash guards worked much better for the TPE T2s. For L5 fenders theirs splash guards should bolt right.

Yours look great man...I thought of TPE's...but now have Pete's carbon creations and L5 fenders on the way.
I ordered the carbon creations fenders and after seeing lots of pics online, I think I might like the L5's better.
I'll decide when we have the car apart and I'll just sell the fenders I'm not using.
Seems that the L5's might cost more to fit, where the CC fenders are supposedly much closer to just "bolt on".
For those bashing L5 lately, I got Sue OTP in one call (left message and she called right back); she was very helpful/gracious and the transaction so far has been smooth. Fingers crossed.
