Am I asking to much? I feel this is a GREAT deal... I am shocked I havent had much interest in it at this price. But maybe there is something I just dont see....
Price is very fair, as mentioned a lot of banks will not give people financing on a car over 10 years old. Makes it hard for the younger guys that are into these to get one I would think. Found mine on autotrader, any used car I have bought or sold has been listed there. A lot of people may be turned off by your 'firm' price. Everyone likes to negotiate. I would have listed it for $21, then tell them your bottom dollar is $19.5.
also why I've been trying to trade as well. every "cash in hand" buyer I had (I've had 6) has talked a huge game, talked on phone, emailed etc, set appointment to meet up and none of them have shown up. one even had me drive 2.5hr to meet him and called when we were supposed to meet that he wasn't gonna make it. OP- I hope you have better luck and sorry for the rant

OMG would I be pissed if someone did that to me, that's really low.
19.5 is a bit high, but not out of line, just more of a "someone wants it" price
last year we had a similar car sell on the forum, really nice elderly owned car, just broke 70k, same year, had a borla and blackwing on it, that brought 18, closed ebay auctions say similar if it's a nice car

If you are having trouble with a cash only sale, make a deal with a car lot to place on consignment. In addition, suggest a credit union for financing.
there's a guy on the forum, right now...with a 7k mile car asking 24
who told you these cars traded on kbb? they never have, they always trace NADA
I'm not saying I got the best deal out there. I had a truck I needed to trade in too because I wasn't having much luck selling outright. I'm OK with what I gave for it.

It happened to me recently with my E92 M3. Unbelievable amount of mouth breathers. I drove 70 miles round trip to hear some idiot's story about crashing his last car street racing and then a few days later backing out because he has no credit.
I sold it on eBay relatively painlessly. Come to think of it I sold my last 3 cars on eBay.

Apples vs oranges; the fact that it was a dealer sale changes the fair selling price.
I recently purchased a '02 C5Z from a fellow member here (sight unseen) for 61k miles that he had listed for $20,500. Needless to say, I would never buy a sight unseen again just because of the things he did not disclose to me through pictures and the CONSTANT emails/texts. Within the week we came to an agreement so I'm content with it now and plan on fixing the things that were a little disturbing (nothing mechanically).
After the end of it all, I ended up paying roughly about $18k. It already had intake, headers/x-pipe, hi-flow cats, skip shift eliminator, lowered on stock bolts and car cover. I'm still waiting on the window sticker which he claimed he had and a battery charger. I don't think I'll get either or as its been a month since I've had it in my possession. Smh.
All in all OP, your car is about right price wise. Its hard to find stock these days but there are cars out there with at least intake, header mods already done for your asking price. I know for me, my credit union uses Nada pricing and is more willing to finance depending on value and mileage.
