Default Sway Bar, End Link, Shock Install

I am upgrading the sway bars, end links, and shocks on my '99 FRC. Can the bars and end links be replaced with the car on ramps? I do not have access to a lift; however, have decent mechanical ability. Torque specs?

Bars and endlinks are probably the simplest modification you can do on these cars. You'll be fine on ramps.

Easy to do the bar on ramps. I did mine a few times.

The end links have a torx head on the bolt that needs to be controlled while undoing the nuts. I did not have the right size and had to buy one. (sorry, but I don't remember the size)

Front
Stabilizer Shaft Insulator Clamp Bolts = 43 lb ft
Stabilizer Shaft Link Nuts = 53 lb ft

Rear
Stabilizer Shaft Insulator (Lower) Clamp Nut = 70 lb ft
Stabilizer Shaft Insulator (Upr) Clamp Bolt = 49 lb ft
Stabilizer Shaft Link Nuts = 53 lb ft

I haven't done the shocks on mine yet, but the torques are below.
Front
Shock Absorber Lower Mounting Nuts = 21 lb ft
Shock Absorber Upr Mounting Nut = 19 lb ft

Rear
Shock Absorber Lower Mounting Bolt = 162 lb ft
Shock Absorber Upr Mounting Bolts = 22 lb ft

Good luck.

You can do it with ramps but it is much easier on jack stands and the tires off the car so you can access the end links easier.
