On other vBulletin forums reputation power is used. People who post good stuff gain a lot of rep and people who post bad stuff go negative and become red. Makes it easier to pick out trolls too. I can think of quite a few posters on this forum that would be high reppers.

Some forums use reputation where you can +1 for good posts and even subtract from reputation in other posts. Used properly, it's great.
