The plumbing is the same as my EE catch can, but mine sits 2"-3" lower. Probably different bracket design.

Someone educate me on why U would go to this system. Does it eliminate the PVC valve system? What are the advantages of this system over stock system? Thanks

It's really the same system, you're just adding a piece to it. PCV valve stays, then you install catch can between the PCV and intake manifold port. Our engines are notorious for sucking oil into the intake through the PCV system. Catch cans help alleviate most of this.

Mickey,
I could have slid the can lower or higher in the bracket. It's adjustable.

Is the presence of some oil in intake bad and for u that have this system does your vette operate/perform better.

I had no personal experience with oil getting in to the manifold, I just know the LSx's are notorious for that happening. I picked this up for a really good price. I figured why not? Be proactive about things so that no problems pop up down the road.

how long does it take to install one of these and do you have to be mechanically inclined?

Easy to install. Took maybe 15 minutes. Remove the FRC, pop the hoses on, tighten the clamps, put the FRC back on. Anyone can do it.
