Blackwing Installation Question.
Looks like the girls are buying Dad a Blackwing for Fathers Day. I have looked on the web and have one question.
Is there anything that needs to be cut/trimmed/modified to install the Blackwing on an 02?
Thanks!

I don't recall having to cut anything. It was a pretty straight forward install.

Pretty much the easiest mod you can do IMO. Plus I love mine!

You don't HAVE to but, if you wanted to introduce even cooler air to the mix you can use the attached to do so.

Just make sure you get the Blackwing for the '01-04 models. I believe the coupler is larger on those than on the previous models.
And you'll love the Blackwing - easy to install, great looks and better air flow.

Be sure to install a rubber molding strip to prevent water/dust from entering the space where the front of your hood meets the front bumper. Mid America and other Corvette suppliers carry them for around $15.00.

Looking to get this as well. With a cat-back exhaust and this intake, is there a need to tune at all?
And someone mentioned getting the 01-04 model, will this still fit the 2000?
