Default LED headlight bulbs

I know there has been nothing but negative feedback about led bulbs being brighter than the stock halogen. I have just ordered the 2014 version led's. Each bulb is 20W 2400LM's and 6000K. All said and done, these (9005 and 9006) should be much brighter than stock and color should be same as HID's. Only question is, will the drivers side clear the hinge on the driver side to close. The earlier one's (had a little fan that hit hinge) would not close on drivers side. No ballast and no need to change housing. I'll report when I receive them and install.

The reason so long, because I knew one of them (driver's inside bulb) would need about 1 32nd shave and slightly bend the headlight up and down arm. Anyway all that went fine except nothing lit up. After some thought we remembered that Chev was the only American dealer that had reversed polarity. The plugs were not designed to do this but, they worked just fine turning them around. They fit nice and tight. Walking around in front of the car ( in his shop) it was like looking into hid's. It was that bright. However, it was daytime and couldn't tell anything. Tonight, 3 more hours of light, I'll take the car down the road. I'll try to take pictures and get someone to transfer them to the forum. I don't know how. They are 2400 lumens each and 6000 bright. They are pretty much white, no yellow like halogen and for the stock housings. I took my wife's car about 200 yds in front of my hid's, and I now know why alot of oncomming traffic would flash me. The hid's in stock housing are all over the place. If it stops raining, I'll get back soon. Be aware, they were $150.00 for 2 9005's and 2 9006's delivered. Not cheap but not $700.00 and up for light housing made for hid's. The 4 bulbs are the same except for the bases, so you would want the harness that keeps all 4 on when on bright.
