Default Harbor Freight Low Profile Jack

The latest HF ad has the 2 ton low profile jack on sale for $129.99 until 7-31-14. Lift range is 2-5/8" to 23-3/4. Lowest price I've seen.

Been using that jack for 2 years now with zero issues. Worth the money IMO.

Yes, that's a 3 ton but isn't as low profile as the one the OP posted.

2-5/8" is great for the lowered C5....no brainer...nothing is worse than having a jack that won't fit under the rocker...requires that you drive up some ramps before jacking up the car....totally inconvenient.

I use the 2 ton low profile jack in the OP, it works really well except you have to be extremely careful when letting it down. Mine goes from holding full pressure to just letting the car fall by just barely cracking the valve open. If I'm doing something important I'll use a big pair of pliers to better control the release.

It's 2 7/8", so 1/4" higher.

Yeah but not only that but if you compare the 2 the first one has a longer lower profile design to avoid obstruction than the second one. Either way both are a good bargain.

Just bought the 1.5 ton racing jack for $60 with coupon. Fits under my fully lowered on stock bolts 99, with 1" pucks. I thought about the 2 ton because of its length, but it weighs 2 tons also. I already have a 3 ton floor jack so I really wanted one that was light, to take to the track.

I use both. I keep the 2 ton steel at home and take the aluminum 1.5 ton to the track.

Another vote for this particular jack. I have one and love it. It's one of the more expensive but it has a great range and better than average lift height. It's also one of the heaviest jacks out there at nearly 100 lbs, but it's also one of a few that has a T handle that makes maneuvering around really easy. Highly recommended.

I own this same model and use it regularly. It is a terrific jack; very well made. Warning, it is heavy... 93 lbs may not sound like much, but if you need to convey it from a shed in the backyard to the driveway (like I do) it takes some effort.

..I have the same one. I have used it with no issues. The only problem I have encountered has been with the pucks I made out of hockey pucks with the eye bolt, when I lower it down and pull the jack out the puck comes out with it..

I got two of them, both 3 ton units.

They are great garage jacks.

This jack lifts 4" higher than the 3 ton model. The coupon code I posted brings the price down to $129.99.

I used to have the aluminum jack, but on my cracked, uneven garage floor it flexed to the side if it wasn't perfectly level. I bought the 2 ton low profile jack about a year ago, and it works great for me, even if it is very heavy.

I have a coupon from HF for the 3 ton low profile 61253 (2 3/4'' high and 29'' long) for $74.99. Coupon #40085089. Valid until 10/01/14.
Weight 77lbs.

Buy whatever you want. I posted here because this is the lowest price for the 2 ton jack I've seen since I bought mine a year ago. Many people are fine with the $65 aluminum jack, but watching it flex sideways over 1/2" made me decide to replace it with the 2 ton low profile.

I bought one this past spring and it's great. My car is so low that I had to drive it up on blocks to get my jack under it.

I have the previous version of that jack...nearly identical design only orange and white in color and no "T" handle in the pump arm. I've had it for 6 years and it's seen it's share of use between me and my friends and all the work we've done on our daily drivers and our toys. Never had a problem with that jack and it's worked flawlessly. I would not hesitate on buying and using one. That being said, when ever you're under your car practice safe jacking practices and be sure to use a jack stand. You never know when something could happen.

you can get 20% off coupons out of road at track which would take 28 dollars off a 140 jack
