Default First Vette

This was my first ride back in the 50's, The frame was a shipping crate,
Rear wheels from dad's lawnmower, fronts from sister's baby carriage.
The guy leaning on the hood is brother Mike (c5vetteguy) Sister on the back. In this photo we just got back from cruise nite and were pondering what trouble we could get in to.
The other photo was our club house, built it my own self.

Great pictures. Reminds me of the one I made. We lived on a hill. I'm lucky I survived.

Nice picture, brings back some good memories. Made many of those as a kid back in the fifty's.

Yep! Gary and have always been car guys. That was our first set of wheels - a real Brat Rod. Dig them "big 'n littles", not to mention the steer-by-wire! Fifty-five years later we're both cruisin' in C5 'verts. The more things change...

Yep, always been a car guy. Here's my first Vette (1952). It's actually one of the prototypes GM was considering before the 1953 Corvettes' official release.

My father (RIP) attached a cowbell and a piece of rope to pull so I could warn slower traffic to get out of my way! How cool is that?

Cheers,

Stu

That clubhouse would be a $500,000.00 fixer upper in California!
