Low speed autocross.

This past weekend I attended a low speed autocross put on by
NCCC. I do run a blower etc and I was teched into group 3.
Which means I must wear a fire suit which I have. This was a hoot
in SCCA I don't wear a firesuit, but I said ok.
A low speed autocross are speeds up to 80 mph. Well I was alittle
miffed at wearing a firesuit so on the back straight I ran 125 mph,
the only thing holding me back was my having enough brake to
stop after the trap light. I did 10 passes. Maybe I will go 150 mph
next time with the AC on just for fun.

in Florida.
I bought the diffuser from Breathless Performance. It arrived in
such poor condition that I wanted to send it back but they wanted
$500 in freight and restocking fee's. I had no choice but to try and
make something of this worthless piece of plastic. I spent a entire
week fixing all of the holes and weak points in the diffuser. It was
a big job and I redesigned some of it.
Do not waste a $1000 plus on this piece of junk and then have to
spend more money to make it right. Yea it's nice now thanks to me
and not Breathless who does not believe in customer service. I tried
to work with them and Breathless would not bend at all to help a
customer. It was my fault I was warned that they were a deceptive
poor customer service, maybe no customer service would be better,
phrase. I stuck my neck out that they could not be that bad, and I
pretty near got my head cut off.
Don't be as stupid as me, stay away from Breathless at all costs.
Thanks for the kind words. My vette seems to never be finished.

I'll just say your custome built diffuser looks great!

the body shop tried to remove the spoiler that I put on and they
broke it. It was on really well. They were very sorry and offered
to replace it. But in one of my weak moments I felt sorry for the
tech (who would have to pay out of his pocket) and I told them
to put it back together and paint it to match the diffuser. It came
out pretty good.
I am trying to find a wing right now . It has been a chore since I
don't want one of those Big wings--67 inch because I fear drag.
I seem to have a lot of downforce with the aero parts that I have
selected so far. Oh, this is not a street car anymore. It use to be
but 10 plus years of my owning this vette has turned it, in to a hobby
car. It's 15 years old and 30 k miles. Thanks for the compliment...
