Are these real CCW?
I hesitated a bit cause I wasn't sure if the wheels were real and they were 19's in the front and 20's in the back. I was expecting 18/19 or 19/19. I recieved a response on this thread and tried to convince him to make the deal but no go. So I left with no wheels and only the hopes he would change his mind. I followed up with him every couple days but he wouldn't budge. I finally decided to move on and ordered new hankooks for my thinspokes and went about my life...
On Saturday, I was at a baby shower and my brother-in-law asked me about the wheels and I told him I moved on and bought new tires. I kid you not, I was just finishing my sentence and my phone rang. Guess who? The guy with the car and the wheels.
He tells me he is selling the car and the buyer may be interested in the trade I offered. The buyer gets on the phone and we trade phone numbers and agreed to meet on Sunday. We met Sunday, this time I went in the vette so he could see how nice the thinspokes looked on my car.
We made a deal, I gave him my Polished thinspokes with good tires in the back, the new Hankooks (which I paid $400 for because they are on clearance at Tirerack), a refurbished front wheel (I paid $250), and $250 cash. He gave me the wheels with cheap chinese tires on the front and bald tires on the back.
Sorry, if I was long winded but I've been after these wheels for over a month. At least the thread isn't worthless:

So did I get a good deal?

so you had 400 in tires, 250 in a refurbed wheel, and 250 cash and your thin spoke wheels and tires. Also do not know how nice your thin spokes are, so its hard to put a value on them. The good news is you have great wheels which take you far beyond the stock look of thin spokes.
Even with having to replace the tires, you got a great deal. You could sell them as is for $2k all day long
