Nothing like a finely polished and waxed Black Vette - Looks like Black Glass. Very difficult to keep up unless you have Zaino, a Car "Bubble" and/or a Garage. If you have these then it is A LOT easier than you would expect.

Well said. Black definitely fits the power and presence of this car. Kind of like the spy planes (SR 71 Blackbird) or the Stealth fighters/bombers that are black and less adorned than other military aircraft.

Can't go wrong with either color. The black looks really nice when it is in perfect clean condition. Just looks really mean, tough and bad butt. However, the EB is more of a 'complex' color that changes hue depending on light due to the metallic nature, and is also easier to keep nice looking.

My 01 vert was black. Black looks good but a real pain to keep clean. If a dirty vette bothers you, pass on the black. The electron blue is really sharp. If I were you I would go with that.
My new 03 Z06, I choose yellow over the blue, but thats just my preference. :D

The Black Z06's are sinister looking! I really like them! The Electron Blue is a gorgeous color though! That would be a tough decision. Someone else said it well a few replies ahead of mine! "Black just fits the Z06 image" I would not like having to make the decision your are having to make! Check out Racer44's Z06. That's what I mean by sinister looking! He's got an awesome car!

I have a black 98 coupe and I really like the way it look but, cleaning it and keeping it looking nice S U C K S!!!!!!!!! Now I have an 2002 EB Z and I spend 1/3 of the time keeping it looking as nice as the black 98. EB is the way to go. It shows less dirt and hides minor surface defects a lot better!

There is no color that I like less in a car than blue, unless it is a a very dark, admiral blue. That is not true, I dislike light to moderate green less. Of course that is my personal preference.
