I have a 98 and all of a sudden I have excessive pressure in my gas tank. Any one know of a place that can take a look at my car.

Bill Messer in Denver. I know it is a drive for you. I am in Cheyenne and drive the two hours for piece of mind, his knowledge, and honesty. If you need a place to stop on the way down or I can help, let me know.

If it was a hot/warm day and your tank was close to empty (below 1/4) you will get a pressure release when you open the cap. The caps are not vented so that's not a concern.

Interesting or not, bought a new gas cap and put some tectron in and so far two days of hard driving and haven't replicated the problem. Possibly the vent was clogged but no issues yesterday or today so hope all stays well till I get back to Stl and have my mechanic buddy take a hard look at the car
Thanks for the suggestions and help I know I can count on CF for advise
