Took my 02 Z06 to the track Friday a week ago, the belt jumped and ate the side of it off. Yesterday I took the belt off to get a new one, I had no idea what size belt I needed. I had to remove the hose from the power steering resivore to the pump. What a pain, sucking all the fluid out then draining the resivore and the suction line. The resivore was moved to the right front of the motor for the Maggie install. The suction hose to the pump runs from the pump through the belt and follows the radiator hose to the resivore. Until I get this belt jumping issue straightened out I may got through a few belts and, I really don't want to have to drain the system everytime I need to change belts. I was wondering if there is a better way to route the hose or another place to mount the resivore? Is this what everyone with a Maggie has to do?

Don't have a Maggie, Maybe some day...
As far as your belt jumping off track I would get that fixed asap and then you won't have to worry about changing belts, I am thinking of 2 possibility's for your belt jumping on the pulley.
First being an alignment issue.
2nd being a crank pulley that has a wobble to it, Known issue. Has your crank been pinned?
Mr.Bill
Yes, crank is pinned. Apparently, this is a common problem with Maggie installs. The high rpm shifts at the track, with the torque full on, full off and full on again, releases tension on the tensioner and the belt jumps over the pulleys. I just put a belt on that is about an inch shorter than what came off. Hoping this will keep more tension on the belt. Just a temp fix for now. I don't have any problems at all with it except at the track so, I doubt it is an alignment issue.

It's a direct bolt-on to replace you spring loaded OE tensioner. They are very well designed and made, just try not to buy direct from Katech; they'll bend ya over.
Google it up, there are a number of sources that sell for less than Katech direct. It comes in several colors too.
Just Googled the Katech belt tensioner. It looks awesome but, it says "Not recommend for use on supercharged engines unless the supercharger has a dedicated drive." They did not elaborate as to why.

Check out the belt tensioner from ECS,I have one on my KB supercharged C5. They will work on Maggie's,I think they are designed for Maggie's.
