So today I finally got around to Chadwicking my car. I was very skeptical with it but none the less I used it. First things first you need to get over the mental hurdle of not washing the car first or ever. I followed Neil's directions to tee and I have to say very easy very nice product. I did my glass, rims, and body. The car shined amazing couldn't be happier. Went to a car meet and got many comments. If I was to have one complaint it would be IMO no way 4oz per time. I used 60% of the bottle and I watched the video 3x and didn't do nothing different less or more.
Nice!! I just Chadwick'd mine for the first time this weekend as well and I think I stared at the car for a good twenty minutes debating if I should at least rinse it first. I ended up following the directions to a t and the results were amazing. Even got under the hood and used some of the tire dressing to clean up some hoses/ plastic pieces and they came out great as well. I have to say I'm pretty impressed, but I agree with you I used way more than 4 ounces.
I've travelled a rather circuitous route with the product. I ordered the kit plus a gallon refill. I have a yellow C5 and a '13 CRM C6, plus my DD is a '14 CRM Cruze.
Initially skeptical, I tried it first on the Cruze doing a tape test on the trunk lid. I've been using Blackfire products on the Cruze, so it was an easy way to compare Chadwicks to Blackfire. Did the whole treatment with a buffer block on half the trunk lid. Took it out in the sun to compare. Could not see any improvement over Blackfire. Was disappointed with Chadwicks considering the superlatives I keep hearing on this forum. Anyway, I'm reading a post about how the results improve the more you use it. Well, I've got a whole gallon of the stuff sitting around so one day I'm home and decide to use it again on the Cruze instead of washing. Came out okay but later as I'm looking at the car in the sun I'm starting to see some good clear reflections on the edges and the color of the paint is sharp and clear. Long story short, I've applied it about half a dozen times since and the results are great - it does improve (on this car/color anyway) the more you use it. No swirls / micro-scratches. Very satisfied now.
Will I use it on the Vette? Probably not as I can't find anything that beats Pinnacle Black Label on the CRM C6. You can plainly see the positive difference that Black Label has over Chadwicks when the Cruze is parked next to the C6.
Chadwicks is also excellent on chrome, glass, and mirrors. I use it on the wheels, windows (inside and out), and mirrors on both Vettes. The no-sling tire dressing is excellent and I use it on all my tires.
In summary, Chadwicks has its strong points and is superior in some areas over other products I've used. As a single product that does a lot of things, it's hard to beat for the effort expended. Chadwicks is easy to use and the effort is minimal. Other products requiring more effort can get you better results - no surprise there - it all depends on what is satisfactory for you. I agree with the previous post that the supplier understates the amount of TriplePlay you will use/need. I use approx a third of a bottle to completely Chadwick a car's paint, all windows, and wheels - making it a little pricey per application vs washing at home.
Car looks great. I agree that it takes a lot more than 4oz for the whole car. Like you I used 50-60% of the product and did exactly what the video / instructions said.

I was just thinking about it. The best way to judge the usage amount might be next time you need to figure we sprayed double the about due to the blocking. But 4oz is still pushing it. I'm going to pour only 4oz in bottle this weekend and see.
Couple of questions for you Chadwick boys and girls, as I have been planning to order my first round of Triple Play:
First, for a toy/garage queen that never sees rain, etc...how often does the car need to be "re-Chadwicked?" As it is, I very rarely was the car with water - just use the California duster and Meguiar's Quick Detailer as needed.
Second, what do you use "in-between" full-on Chadwick sessions to spot clean things like water spots, bugs, etc.? Do you use a detail product like Meguiar's or the Chadwick product or something else?
Last, let's say you just Chadwicked your car, then a week later you get caught in the rain and it is now dirty. Do you have to do another full-on Chadwick session at that point to get it back to clean?
My impression is that Chadwick's would be a pretty good product for somebody like me given how I use my Vette, but for a DD it would get pretty expensive. Dunno - looking for some input from some folks with experience.
I dd my corvette and just did my first application of chadwicks, i try to avoid bad weather but ill give it a touch up at the end of the week. I guess ill see in a couple of days. I keep hearing about this california duster what the hell is that thing?

The first time I used it, with clean then block, I thought 4 oz was way optimistic too. I used practically a whole bottle. Nevertheless, I ordered another bottle for another try and the second time, I doubt I used the full 4 oz. Did the whole car and didn't go below the neck of the bottle, took maybe 30 minutes and got all the bugs of the front (this took a little more effort than a "light" wipe but cleaned them completely). I think the trick is to use it very sparingly when you spray. I was trying to wet the whole car the first use I think. I'm now sold and will probably order a gallon and start doing my other two cars as well.

The duster is just what it says, it has some type of product inbedded in the fibers to lift the dust off the car. I use mine almost everytime I take it out and when I come in I give it a quick dust and put the cover on it. I always use compressed air to blow it out to make sure it hasn't gotton any debree inbedded in it. There are several brands out there, I got one from Advance Auto for 20.00.
I have used chadwicks about 10 times on the same bottle. I go sparingly on it and love the results. I can't say i will never use water on my car because if I get caught out in the rain I will wash with water only and then chadwick it. I think this product leans more to the quick detail type products out there. It doesn't seem to be one of those products you use twice a yr and U are done but it is so easy and quick to use I don't mind doing it more often.
I Chadwicked my 04 this spring and got caught in a thunder storm while in a construction zone trying to get home. I was amazed how the water just rolled off of the car and was still clean when I finally made it back to the garage. Just a quick wipe around the wheel wells and the car shined just like I had just used it. Very impressed.

Thanks!
I have only used the block once. I just reapply and buff off. I also use it to just do the nose and windshield if I get some bug splatter. I have gotten to the point where I can do the whole outside of the car in about 20 minutes if I don't mind working up a little sweat. Taking my time it only takes about 40 minutes to do the whole car including wheels. Results are awsome
