Default Head light
Have 2001 vert.Head lights go up fine but when turn off they close but right side motor continues to run for about 30 sec. any help appreciated.

You need a new gear. The composite gears grind down. Replace it with a brass/bronze gear. Do the other headlight while your getting dirty.

RodneyDickman dot com.....its a kit and is comes complete with the brass/bronze gear, grease and T brace and complete instructions...step by step with pictures.
