Default Drop Spindles, Photos Enclosed, Any One Running These?

I decided to run drop spindles & adjustable shocks instead of coilovers, so this will be my winter project, curious if any one else is using these on the street.

No, but I know they are $3000 new! Better make sure they are perfect if you're buying used! I have a set of the drag spindles on the way. I'm sure LG made these well, especially considering how over priced the kits are..

I purchased new, did not pay retail, I agree they are expensive, but I found a vendor that had an excellent price.

Some people can barely drive on the street when lowered on stock bolts, how much lower do these go?

Yes, I was one of the 20 to get them at that price, it helps, but look at what they are. Pieces of aluminum designed after GM's already produced design. Way, way, way overpriced even on the sale I got them for IMO. OP is talking about the "drop spindles". Even more pricey . LG has the monopoly on these products, only ones to produce them from what Ive seen, so it is what it is. Im glad I got my hands on them at around half price though thats for sure.

That blows then wish someone would step up. Would like a nice set of 15" welds but that's outrageous to pay.

I ran a set of four on the Autocross Corvette. They weigh more then stock, lower your car and you can change the wheel bearings easy.

I run them on the street with strange brakes ... I have them on one car and would put them on my other mostly so I can change the 15 & 16" drag packs between the two cars

These lower the car 1" front & rear, use's stock shocks including mag ride shocks, keeps your geometry as it was designed, so ride quality is same as stock, and no bump steer kit needed. I intend to put car back to stock geometry using the tool shown below, and fine tune my ride height after that. Some of the shock manufacturers I talked to told me that you can improve ride quality in these cars just by changing out the stock shocks.

They look like really nice pieces.

Considering the design time + machining time on them, I would say that's actually a decent price. Keep in mind that these are billet where as stock are probably pressure cast and then certain areas are machined. Not to mention the limited quantity runs on these compared to the thousands that GM had made.

No issue's installing that I can remember, but my 17" rear wheel would hit the bottom of the control arm. I had to file a lot of material away to get it to fit correctly. 18" wheels would be no problem.

Thanks, I run 19" F & R so should not be any issues with those.

Very cool, I stand corrected, I thought they were billet.

Extrusion for these pieces is awesome, I wonder how much the tooling costs.

I'll have to check their website for more info regarding the spherical bearing and taper pin instead of the ball joint.

Nice piece of engineering. Thanks for the video!
