hi everyone just a couple of questions.
so i decided to put a CAI on my vett, what are the concecuences? since i have been reading on this post for a while it seems that vararam is the way to go. once installed do i have to do anything extra like tunne it, reprogram the comp?
i'll appreciate all the help that i can get. oh! this is my 1st corvette by the way.
thanks.
The only consequence is that once you begin to mod it becomes an addiction. You will not be able to sleep at night after installing just a CAI. Next, you're going to want/need a catback exhaust. From there you're just a step away from LT headers and X-pipe. I would sell the car now while you still have some savings in the bank.

No tune required, but be prepared to perhaps pull your hair out installing the Vararam. Not the best fit in components to the air intake. But it does seem to show the best performance increase of all the CAI units.
