i know some guys dont like fender badges if it didnt come with it,but since adding the zr flared quarters and adding the zr extended c6 spoiler i went with custom zr style emblems but with Ls1 instead and had Sikness engraved,thats my personalized plate.I had it done in onyx black and carbon fiber inserts on the ls1 and red for the 1 so it doesnt stand out too much but just enough to see it.

I like them. Way to be original. However, since your car is black, I think if the LS would have been red instead of CF the badge would stand out more. From a distance, all I see is the red 1.

They look good. I went with ls1 badges on mine as well.

Its not too " in your face" ... it keeps the stealthy look of your car intact.

Nothing wrong with adding fender badges as long as they do not "false advertize".

I have seen several Coupes with Z06 badges and a couple of verts with the same. This is simply WRONG and will make you a laughing stock, it will not impress.

Went to BuyAVette a couple of months back to look at Vettes. Saw a yellow C5 Vert with Z06 badges (of course brake ducts and even changed out the fog lamps and put screen mesh in it). I told the salesmen that they had better hang on to that car since it was extremely RARE!! A C5 Z06 Vert. Even Chevy did not know that was one was produced. They laughed and said that they were in the process of removing the badges.

Have also seen some people who badge their C5s (and Z06) with Supercharge badging. That is perfectly legit (if they actually have a SC), but let's me know, not to try and run them!

I like it! I generally don't like the 02-04 z badges because of the "405 hp" badges on them. Just my taste though.
