Thanks to alla y'all! (Southern for All of You!)

I do just LOVE the interior now. I'm trying to find some black carpet to recover the amplifier box....when I ordered the current carpet it wasn't what I expected, as it doesn't match the original carpet well enough. When I do find the right stuff, I'm going to add a partition at the back of the box so that the cargo area isn't so visible from the seat area. Anyone know where I can buy a couple of yards of the correct black carpet?

Josh, I'm going to post some closeups of the seat covers so you (hopefully) can see the grain and stitching better.

Thanks again,
KoreaJon

Hello Everyone,

I just took a couple of close-up pictures of the seat covers to show the grain and stitching. I was asked privately about the texture and whether I liked it:

Really, for me.....if I didn't know that they are simulated "real" leather, I would think that were leather...except for the smell. Yep, there's some "off-gassing." After the car has been closed up in the heat for a few hours, there's a strong smell when you open the door. It goes away immediately when the doors are opened, but it's bothersome, nonetheless. I'm hoping that it will wear off after a short while (?)

When I bought these, I did so off of the recommendation of one other forum member, and after several email communications with the seller. I paid something like $400 for the two seats, the console cover, the shift boot, and the e brake boot. I reasoned that if I didn't like them, well, the world won't end over $400. On the other hand, if I DID like them, well Hell! I got a hell of a deal!!

I feel like I got a hell of a deal!

I like them so much, I was so impressed with the seller's service, communication, and attitude that I'm planning to upgrade to the leather covers in a couple of months (gotta get the stainless axle-back, TQ converter and the upgraded differential parts installed first!)

Anyway, I hope theses pics help someone in their decision-making process!

Cheers,
KoreaJon
