I am curious about the color/colors of the magnesium wheels. Were they offered in different colors or shades over the years of production? Also, were the N73 wheels styled wheels put on some models in aluminum instead of magnesium? Were the wheels on the 03 Anniversary option magnesium?
I put trivia in the heading because I would be interested to know any other odd bits of info on these wheels whether it's related to color or not.

The magnesium wheels were always a bronze-ish color. I never noticed a variation in the color shade over the years. The N73 wheels were always magnesium and were not made in aluminum. The '03 AE wheels are champagne color and were aluminum, not magnesium.

Your ad is what prompted my post. I would like to have a pristine set but I'm a tightwad. I have a question for you, does your wheels have a black stripe around the circumference of the rim between the two rim beads?

Thanks for the pictures, the one with the wheels on their sides was the shot I needed. I had done some reading on the C5registry and it was stated that all wheels for export were made with a different offset for the European market where the wheel would be inset about a 1/2" inside the fender openings. All wheels with this special offset would have a black stripe all the way around the wheel inside the bead area (would not be able to see with the tire mounted. Then it made a statement that all N73 wheels had this offset?? Yours have no stripe so that seems to rebut the statement, or since they all had the same offset no need for an identifying mark.
Good luck with the sale of your wheels, they look very nice.
