Default Torx Body Screws

Hey everyone, looking for a little bit of help here, I am trying to hunt down where I can get more of the black torx screws that are used all over the corvette. More specifically for the front fenders, GM part number is 11508561 (Pan Head Torx M4.2X1.41X20).

I've lost a couple of these overtime and I am trying to find a replacement, I've been able to find the correct GM U-nuts but not the screws.

If anybody knows where to pick these up let me know please!

Well, you know the GM part number, so a Chevy dealer's parts department would be the obvious place to start. After that, since you have the precise size spec, try McMaster-Carr.

I was in the same boat when after I pulled the dash to fix the HUD. The dealer parts guy had tons of otherwise-identical screws in Phillips-head, but not torx. Depending on what you're doing (unless it's for some hyper-picky concours), there are usually places where the head doesn't show anyway. All things considered, I prefer PH over torx anyway, especially when I'm trying to stuff the driver into the head blind.

(That fractional metric size and the mention of u-clips sounds like it's actually a standard sheet-metal thread, #8 or so.)
