Well, I have been around the block and back again trying to decide on what make and model corvette to buy. My last Camaro SS had over 460hp at the wheels but the car handled like a boat. I missed the feeling of a corvette, after a long thought debate with myself between a 08 ls3 versus a C5 Z, I decided I wanted the Z. I love the race car feel and I just had to have an electron blue Z after seeing the color in person at a local car show.
After a couple of weeks searching I stumbled on this 2003 Z and she is mint. As of today, she is all stock, minus a MGW shifter and has 6900 miles. It still smells new. I love it.

I got me a 2004 C5 z06 LeMans edition, and in the span of 6 months I've put around 10000 miles on it, and cannot get enough of this. The photos below are from a trip to Pike's peak, CO (from San Francisco Bay Area)

I recommend the trip and climb to all of you guys.
Great looking car. MGW shifter may be my favorite mod to date. Definitely adds to the "race car feel" and really improved the whole driving experience. What's next?

I will replace the 6' antenna very soon. The car has the original goodyear tires, I plan to replace them with michelins and get a good alignment.
Other than that, she will see some weekend car meets in Tucson and I plan to keep the mileage around a 1000 miles a year.
It does indeed smell new. It's like rewinding the clock to 2002- I remember the first time I went to a dealer with my dad, I was a senior in high school- I sat in and drooled over this exact car. Smells just like it did 13 years ago.
