Buffed the z06..
These clearcoats are pretty tough.. I had to go at it with an orange country pad, M105, and spd6 on my portercable DA polisher.. Followed up with white pad @ spd 5 w/ M205. Really should have used yellow pad in a few spots but overall achieved ~90% paint correction.

Before you buffed your Corvette did it have any noticeable orange peel? I see you said you corrected 90% of the paint, just curious as to what was corrected. The paint looks amazing from just that one picture alone.

Nah no orange peel - it was just little swirl marks/light scratches from 10 years of washing I'm assuming. Car appeared to never have been buffed in it's life. The clearcoat is so hard that I couldnt seem to correct the deeper "scratches" with an orange lake country pad on full speed. Should have stepped up to a yellow lake country pad (more cut capability). I had a similar situation with my '00 z28's clearcoat being very hard too.
