Awsom to look at but I wouldn't want to drive it. We have a few guys at our local track that does that when the track is just right. Any more than a foot and I'd be turning it down a bit. My old tube chassis Grand Am would do 3 fters if I left against the converter. Didn't do that much. They really don't land hard if ya don't take your foot out of it when it's up there. I couldn't even feel the landing in my old car, but I don't like looking at the sky going down the track. That's for the youngins.
Yeah, the worst thing you can do in that instance is to jump out of the throttle!!! Then you will feel it land!!!
That's why I don't do starts like that and hook up the tires. Did it once at a red light and between the girlfriend and me screaming when the front end lifted and the po-po who pulled me over...it was a bit too much that day. The cop let me go with a warning and told me if he had the car he would drive it the same way too.
So I stick to roll ons and don't try it from a dead start anymore. Awesome video and a very clean run down the strip! Wish we had the time slip too.
