I usually dont like to comment on pissing contests like this but you know what I'm gonna throw my 2c based on actual experience. I have owned several custom cars in the past including custom imports not some kid threw together with ebay parts in his moms garage but REAL custom imports pushing over 400whp etc. Real head turners.
From my experience.... A Vette will always be a vette and respected as a part of automotive history in this country. An import or "regular" domestic will NEVER be that!
Could care less how fast a MS3 goes. At the end of the day, its still a damn MS3 that I would drive to Walmart and feel comfortable with it sitting outside cos nobody really cares about it!

took an 04 C5 for a spin other day. I thought it would have had a bit more power. not sure if it was partially due to it being a limpy automatic and not being in ideal rmp range to feel the most from the car. I should notice a difference with a stick along with some mods to get it up at the 400 hp range right? I like the look of the C5 but want something that's going to move me fast to like 75. the car felt closed in enough so a fix roof just wouldn't work for me.
