Problem witrh climate control
I just purchased a 2000 Vette, love the car but I have 2 problems
1 When you put the climate control on auto and you adjust the temp the system switches to heat and comes out the bottom. Then you tape this little vent on the right of the steering wheel and the air comes back on and then off again.
2. Blinkers do the same thing they work 99% of the time then they go out stop working and you tap the flasher button and they start to work?
Anyone have a similar issue

If by blinkers, you mean turn signals. Yes, I have the same problem. There are bypass gismos out there, but I'm going to do it the hard way. If I'm not mistaken, the flasher is up under the center vent. This requires pulling the console, radio, all kinds of stuff.
I have dealt with this for over a year. Maybe this winter, I'll get it done. I plan on pulling all this stuff out and fixing a few things all at once. Maybe even get console redone for newer style radio. It's a PITA but my turn signals will work after a few pressings of the emergency flashers. One thing I found out. If the flashers are not flashing with button in, no brake lights.
