Default Diffrence between front and rear emblems?

My front emblem fell to pieces and I was wondering what the difference between the front and rear emblems are? The rears are cheaper than the front but they appear to be the same. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Also where can I purchase an emblem for a reasonable price? Thanks.

Correct, The front has 2 pins that keep it lined up, I would think you could use a rear one on the front, You might have to give it a little heat, I believe the front has a curve and the rear is flat. Make sure you clean it really well, remove all wax before you stick it on.

Having recently replaced both front and rear emblems, I can say without any doubt the only difference between the two is the posts.

The front has them and the rear does not.

May I ask where you purchased the emblems and do they come with the adhesive?

New ones are about $45 on the big auction site. And yes, they do come with new tape installed.I have a good used one that I just removed if you want it.You will need new tape but the emblem is in great shape.I assume you do need one for a C5?

I agree.
I think that the C5 looks better as a rolling sculpture rather than a billboard.

I bought new ones for mine and the front is the same as the rear just has the posts. I never used the rear one still brand new in the GM bag

I left the emblem off the back of mine and compromised between on and off on the front. I modified my new emblem to this.
