Lmc5 ?
I just installed the LMC5 on my 98 last night. Everything works like it should except my key fob won't lock or un-lock the car doors. Anyone have this problem? Is it related to LMC5 or unhooking the neg. battery cable on the car for the installation.

That may be the cause. If the quick resync doesn't make it work, try the full retraining of the fob through the DIC. Hopefully one of the two processes will get it working again. If not, call vendor who sold you the LMC5.
